The first week
The first week of new love is definitely the best...
Without any doubt in my mind.
You get all those lovey dovey butterflies in your tummy, and you get those oogly googley eyes for this specific person. (these are specific terms)
And it usually gets better from there. You can't stand to be away from them. They're the first thing you think of when you wake up, and the last thing before you go to sleep.
Just the gentle touch of their skin against yours, sends electirc currents through your entire body.
And when you stare into their eyes, it feels like nothing else matters in the world.
HOLD ON!
But at the same time you don't know whether or not you should really be falling for this person or not.
I mean you don't want to have your heart broken.
So, while I was wish that there were a way to guarantee not getting your heart broken...I can't.
Boys generally suck. And this a SOLID FACT, that you must keep in the back of your mind at ALL times. Do not let it go. No matter how this dude makes you feel...in bed, outta bed, in clothes, outta clothes, in school, in work, in well..you get the point. Anywhere, anytime.
Before you know it, you're throwing yourself all over him, while he's doing the same with some other chick. But youre too full of him to realize that anything could go wrong. Then you're left alone with a shattered heart. well la de freakin da. Not again. Poor you.
Is it really healthy to live like this? No.
I think that it's healthy to live with a conscience. Something that reminds you of your past heart breaks, and past assholes. Past tear filled kleenex, past ice cream binges, and past pimple break outs. And all the shitty stuff guys do to us....
BUT
You can still have a good time, with all those lovey dovey feelings.
Just be on your guard at all times. Like a watch dog!
And maybe, just maybe...everything will work out for the best. Who knows.
I'll let you know.

Bros b4 Hoes?!
Bros b4 hoes....
Let us elaborate on this subject.
Now, i understand that guys like to hang out with their guy friends..don't get me wrong...i like hanging out with my friends that are girls as well....
But there is a line that can be crossed when picking ur bros before your hoes...however many you may have of each..
Well i know that a woman/girl/female, it can be quite frustrating when it comes to dating, and this bros before, whatever-thing is well for lack of better words, just stupid.
For instance...
If I'm supposed to hang out with this guy this one night right, and he cancels on me last minute to do something with one of his compadres, i'm going to be a little pissed off....even if this guy and i aren't dating.
That's rational right?
Damn right it is....don't ask me to hang out, when in all actuality, I'm just a 'back-up' incase ur little "buddy" decides to cancel on you.
DON'T even bother to ask me to hang out in the first place... I would rather hang out with one of my many other gentlemen callers. Ha ha. But seriously...
Let us not forget that I have something quite important that your buddies do not. And if you want this something, you better not cancel on me. Jerk.
Guys overstep this line quite often, tooooo often. Sooo ladies let's get to the point...
If a guy cancels on you, or even picks one of his bros before us, 'hoes', don't keep asking him to hang out. Cause he's obviously a D bag. And the last thing you want, is to seem desperate. Without a doubt. Here's what to do:
Blow it off: act like hanging out with him was not a big deal in the first place. (even if you were looking forward to it)
Pretend like you had better plans anyway: Make something up. It doesn't have to be something too elaborate...Like your friend (insert male name here) wanted to hang out tonight. By using a male friend, you could possibly make this other guy jealous, and make him think about cancelling on you.
Avoid him for a few days: After the cancelling, let him be the one to contact you first. You don't want to come off as being desperate or a loser.
Cancel on him next time: This one is optional. I guess it depends on how much you think you're interested in this guy. But make him see how it feels. Make plans with him, and the day of, say your friend (insert girls name here) asked you to do something, and you'll have to reschedule. By that point you can decide whether you really wanna reschedule or not.
Most (not all) guys are jerks anyway, so if this is a repetative thing, ditch him. You could do way better anyway. Simple as that.
