one sided relationships
Ladies.
Eventhough some things are obvious, we still remain to be oblivious to them.
Like how awesome-ly cool we are. But seriously. The Ting Tings say it well...
You say,It's not what you do
It's what you're thinkin' of
Well I think it's just an excuse,It's what you put across.
'Cuz I don't wanna be the one
Only overjoyed
Yeah, I don't wanna be the one
Makin' all the noise
Yeah, I don't wanna be the one
So make sure, you're thinkin' it through
You've let me down again
Offer me something I know you really meant
'Cuz I don't wanna be the one
What you going to offer now?
Relationships seem continuously to be a let down for me. And I'm starting to think that may be what they will always be in life. But I'm over it. Boys are half, if not fully, mentally challenged in any aspect of love. They do not know what it means. They do not know how to express their emotions, and most of them DO NOT know how to make a girl feel truly special. Duh.
Always remember...YOU SHOULDNT BE THE ONLY ONE. In any relationship. You shouldn't be the only one putting forth the effort, going the extra mile, the only one being overjoyed, the only one ANYTHING. If a dude likes you, he should have some input as well. He shouldn't be completely hopeless...
If he's not, then you need to ditch him. Play the field. Date some randoms. Do something reckless.
Hell...you only live once. Why not live it to your complete fullness? And I promise I won't think any less of you if you play the field a little. or a lot.
You test drive cars don't you? Why not test drive love?

the friend approval test : part deux
This weekend, I met one of my very best friends for her 22nd birthday. It was also the first time I got to meet her boyfriend, who I will refer to as Ryan. Well that is his name. Anywhy this was the first time I met him, and guess what!
I AM NOT IMPRESSED.
Miss Manda can do so much better.
He's not funny. He treats her like crap. He isn't that nice. He's not even smoking hot.
She can do way way way better. And I told her.
I don't know, I feel as though Ginger and I have very very different opinions on what a relationship is. Maybe I just feel like you shouldn't have to give anything up because I am stubborn, but at the same time, I don't think he should have to change either because he should be perfect.
right?
